I have the Tekonsha Prodigy brake controler in my '06 and in my '98, as well as my 2 sons' '03 and '04. They are very simple to operate and to install. A wire harness is available for your truck that plugs into the truck's wiring and into the unit. Check them out at http://www.tekonsha.com/prodig.html
