The fewer open forums, the harder they will each be hit by the same number of spammers.
I only like this style for the drivel. We don't have to hunt it up in a separate sub-forum. But the later style with immortal threads are nicer for technical discussions. I would use that style IF I had a forum. But this one is Joe's, I'm glad he does it.
