I'd go over the ignition first. Check timing. Make sure the dist. hasnt moved. Make sure the wires are all good. Might even make sure all plugs are firing. Clip the timing light to each wire and push the button and watch the light and see if its steady.
Check your plugs. That will tell you a lot about how its running. In the champion plug world there used to be 2 kinds of plugs. The good auto part store plugs andthen 2nds that the discount stores sold. You could have some bad plugs. Check the gap!
