Also check you gas cap. The gas cap has a vent so you dont pull a vacuum on the tank. If that vent in the gas cap is plugged, you could experience the problem your haveing.
A quick easy test. Run the truck until it quits. Get out quickly and remove the gas cap. If you hear a inrush of air. You found your problem. Removing the gas cap, you should NOT hear any inrush of air.
