I am on the look out for a capstan mu-2 winch. I have had the need for one on several ocassions to pull wire in unground pipe installations. it would be easier to drive the truck off road to the loaction, than drag a generator and wire puller there and then rig up some type of stand. Since these occasions arent very often I haven't spent the several thosand dollars to buy the wire puller. I have been pulling with the truck itself. There is much less control doing it that way.
