I used stock 1989-1993 1st Gen 6BTA Mounts. There is no violent shaking as some elude to.
I could set a glass of water on the intake manifold and it would not be thrown off. In time, it would creep to the edge and drop off. None of my engines have the optional internal balancer. The internal balancer, though nice, extends way below the bottom of the block requiring a much larger oil pan.
I do have a set of Lord Fluidlastic mounts. These are liquid filled. I may use them on the Bumblebee or Swivel. The jury is still out on this decision.
