This is a picture of the Bendix 11584 Master Cylinder with a 1 & 5/16" known as JD-8 option. I use it on all my diesel conversions. In the picture it was mounted in my Bumblebee 1970 FFPW with Helitool Hanging Pedals. The NAPA number is 39017. Using the helitool pedals, its a nice fit.

If your using drumb brakes, you will have to add residual pressure check valves. Summitt Racing sells them.

As a side note, I tried using this Master Cylinder on my Carryall without a brake booster. It was failure, in an emergency, I know I could not have stopped the truck. I added hydroboost and had brakes equal to my Ram. On my bumblebee, I used a vacuum booster (seen in the picture) I again had brakes equal to my Ram

The one of the actual applications on the Bendix MC mentioned above is; 1979 Chevy, C-30, 1 Ton Pickup.

You will find the same part number with JD-7 option which is a 1 & 1/4" bore. This WILL NOT work to your liking. Been there, tried it.

Some others on the forum have followed and used the above mentioned MC with the 1 & 5/16" bore and are very happy with the results
