I would remove the tank then drain it. Blow out the tank with compressed air the best way that you can come up with. Put a couple of jugs, cans or whatever with a carb cleaner .let it soak a while, slosh it around then drain again. Blow it out again with compressed air. Maybe bow air through the percock into the tank to make sure that it is cleaned out. reinstall fill with fill and some carb cleaner and call it good. Steve
