What I am calling the transmission tunnel is the center section of the floor board - the removable portion that all the shift levers protrude through.
I seem to remember that the position of the shift tower on the syncronized transmission is a couple of inches toward the back, requiring the later version of the tunnel for the proper fitment of the upgraded tranny. Did you change this out?
