I have to agree with that. We have been HUGE amounts of munitions tooling and we were told they can't make it(ammo) fast enough. They were saying the Lake City plant can barely keep up and Military usage is the main reason for the shortage. No mention of metal prices but I'm sure it has caused some of the increase.
We were given a blanket contract from one of the major players as we were the only ones that could supply the amount of tooling they needed on their deadlines.
We were also told some of the ammo distributors were given a ship date of about 1 YEAR from the manufacturer. Anyone who doesn't think the military can go through a LOT of ammo has NEVER seen a gun ship in action. They don't call it "a wall of moving metal" for nothing. Kevin
