"OT" But Dodge related Engine "Quirk" He

The wife and her sister went shopping yesterday in the Durango. It's "99" with 039470 miles on it Never a problem.
They call me saying battery dead won't start.
No problem,what ya leave on? At first it was nothing,the fessed up left road lights on.
Ok I jump it it starts right up Alt voltage comes up runs fine,until I let off the gas pedal. Dies! Won't idle. Re start same thing runs fine won't Idle.
Well I figured it's a low voltage problem Until it died and re-started again with NO jump. Now I drive it back home with them follwing in the Ram and get home and all is well Runs fine Idles great.
So I guess omething needed to reset?
Idle motor,ecm?
