Cliff, How about this- get a piece of pvc pipe say 3/4 or 1"and slip it into the housing and try to center it on the broken stub. Then fab a long welding rod made from a piece of 1/4" rod with a real welding rod tacked to the end. Slip this into the pvc sleeve and weld the electrode on good making it stick. Use this as a slide hammer tool. What is bad about this is any arcing that might go on inside the pumpkin possibly damaging bearings. Good luck. Dan
