Can't say that I have tried this,but it sounded good to me so I'll pass it on,Heat up the broken axle thats removeable and heat it up with a cutting torch till its beat red to the point of it wants to drip,slide it back down the axle shaft housing till it meets the broken shaft inside it should seize its self then wait till it cools and if the old boy was right it should have welded itself enuff to pull the hole problem out.
If that doesn't work drop the rear end torch the housing off pull everything out and call me I'll sell you a good used axle housing.the second senaro is the worst.The Dodge guru of Tujunga once told me when all else fails,"TORCH IT"......May the Dodge force be with you. Rick
