You're missing some air in the lines. If you only bled the master cylinder, it's probably down the line a bit. The best thing to do is bleed all the wheels until you get fresh fluid. I have a small brass hammer that I tapon the wheel cylinders and junctions to break any bubbles loose from surface tension.
