I put a pair of Motorcraft batteries in mine a few years ago. They have worked just great. At the time, I just went to the store with my battery box dimentions and terminal positions. I found the batteries with the most amps that would fit the location.
There is an outfit ( in New Jersy I think ) that advertises in the Military magazines. They offer original equiptment batteries if you are trying to be "correct".
