have you tried the gas cap ? it's got a check valve
It should vent air in but not fumes out.
or there's a vent system that could be plugged up.
When you shut down after burning some gas, there's a vacuum build up
inthe tank to suck the fuel back thru a borderline fuel pump.
just a thought
also could cause vapor lock
didn't my m-37 have a vent valve in the cap for use when fording?
