He nearly drove Home Depot into the ground with poor purchasing and logistics strategies, as well as a complete lack of customer focus. Robbed them blind with his golden parachute when he left.
With no car experience - and little business expertise, he can cry all he wants at dealer meetings and things aren't going to get better.
My bet is that he is out on the street by the end of '08 with a fat severance check ... my only hope is that he doesn't really bankrupt the company before then.
