My guess is that he's done nothing to the suspension & found that the suspension was bottoming out when you get 500hp going to those back tires!
It would be hard to believe that it "drives like a new Viper" with a straight axle & 1970 technology!
That being said....you'd never build that car for $69K unless you were going to do most of it yourself. I imagine the engine, tranny, cooling etc must have been over $10K...no?
