Well written but wrong, very, very wrong.
You no doubt have been following the flack that CNN received for "planting" operatives at the last Republican Debate. They posed as "Undecided Republicans".
The gay General who is a paid Clinton Adviser was flown by the network to the debate. Several Edwards and Obama staffers, 8 in total were there, and asked pre-taped questions from U-tube. While there is nothing wrong with the opposition asking pointed questions, to hide the source and label it as objectivity is wrong. A legitimately Fair and Balanced Media would not do that.
Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Katie Couric, Chris Mathews, Tim Russert, George Stanopolis, De De Myers, I could go on and on, there is a long list of left leaning anchors and correspondents who came to the networks from the campaigns or offices of liberal politicians.
Newspapers are blatantly liberal in their op-ed pages and in the slant of their articles. Since the 60's there has been an anti-American drumbeat, with a brief respite for a few days and weeks after 9-11, then it slowly geared up again with an incessant, blame America first, staccato. Bush is an idiot, Bush lied, we're losing the war, man is causing global warming, etc., etc., etc.
Thankfully they have been pretty quiet now that the surge is working....
Poll after poll, taken among journalists themselves, show that they themselves, acknowledge that they are indeed liberal.
The Press is not supposed to sway opinion, it is supposed to report the news, objectively without bias, however it has become mostly all propaganda and ignorance.
For anyone with an ounce of objectivity to see it any other way is naive or disingenuous. Be honest with yourself....
