As usual, another fascinating look, deep into the bizarre psyche of Maney, the Mysterious Mild-Mannered Midwestern Mechanic.
The "Tailgate" story was spell-binding, with quite a twist at the very end. I won't give away the shocker, but suffice it to say that I never knew that the old joke about the Rabbi, the hooker and the midget was actually based on a true story from the corn fields of Iowa.
Kudos to the Editor, who once again captures on the printed page the very essence of that indescribable and unidentifiable crud that lingers under the moist rubber floor mats of the American farm truck, and under the fingernails of the farmers who drive them.
The explicit photos, shot in graphic, almost medical, close-up, may shock some of the more sensitive readers, but difficult times call for difficult measures.
All in all, a must-see issue. Bravo!
