Just to add to Bruce's excellent post. There are quite a few FREE picture hosting services. They will allow you to build albums and from there you can link to individual pictures to post here. The down side to the free services is that they are Ad supported. You see a lot of ad's and I find them quite slow.
The other option is to use a Pay service such as Image Event. Image Event cost are very very low considering what you get. Its totally ad free, you can customize your albums, up load in many formats as well as video. A lot of us use Image Event. Check them out at www.imageevent.com. Their format is very easy to work with, no big hammer needed LOL
