ive done this 4 times, evertime is in the winter, i've or one of the guys has chewed the rotors off, plowing, and we had to pull the assemblies off,, NOT FUN!!! i read the link,, seams right,, but ive used the jaws. and pulled the rotors off ,, most of the time, i'm replacing all the stuff,, STUB SHAFT, NNUT, INNER BEARING, ROTOR, etc, because,, the nut spins off the stub shaft, ruining both,, and the bearing is usually not reusable,, comes up to about $1000 per side!!! SORRY FOR THE BAD NEWS, heat is not a good thing, as the bearing has i thinkk a plastic hard sear, in it, note that that article was written a while back, prices are up, , not fun!! infact i reused one of my hub bearings, and its not doing so well right now,, but i'll ride it out for the winter, hopefully, depending on WHICH state you live in,, will determine how hard this will be,, Note, the guy from ND, took only a few hours,, yea,, no salt up there,, etc,,, yes truem they ordered the wrond hub bearing assemble for me also, mine are a 97 and 99 duallys though, my3/4 have never had a problem,, but getting the trucks ready soon,, good luck, jc
