My early WDX (#1015 -- May Detroit build) doesn't have holes drilled either . . . but my '47 (November Los Angeles build) does. . .
So they must have started adding mirrors to these trucks some time after May '46. Maybe it was a '47 improvement?
I also wonder if the assembly plant (detroit vs LA) had anything to do with it.
