Assuming you checked that both have NP231’s (Ram also used Np242). I compared both parts lists side by side. The NP231HD in the BR(Ram) has the same case, main shaft, output extension and output shaft to the front axle. The BR has different part numbers for the input and output bearings and a different range select fork and chain drive sprocket. The only other difference I see is in the front output yoke. So it looks like you could remove the front drive shaft yoke on the Durango and put it on the BR’s t-case and be back on the road.
