Thanks Vaughn, you mentioned that the non-syncro is cheap and easy to rebuild. What are some of the conditions that present that indicate a rebuild is in order. You mention that they whine a lot in 1st and 3rd gears is the volumne of the whine one of them? How loud shouldn't it be? What is acceptable volumne? What are other symptons of a tranny rebuild? Are parts available for a complete rebuild and how much? What's the biggest challenge with doing this? A lot of questions, huh. Thanks.
