My '61 town wagon was a 50th birthday present to myself....6 years ago today. It was advertised on the forum. I flew from Kansas City to Farmington, NM and the seller picked me up. It had the incorrect steering column which meant stradling it while driving. The back bumper was at my waist level due to 5" blocks under the springs. I started out about 3 PM to drive it home to Missouri with a detour into central Colorado.About 35 miles north of Alamosa, Co. the battery went dead. I spent my first night in my new truck in 15 degree weather. Six years later it has entered the garage for a make over. 4BT,NV4500, disc brakes etc.
