All you need is to know the upper and lower mount type and size, and the extended and compressed length. Then any store, even Pep Boys, should be able to look at their application guide and find the correct shock.
A guy I know just scored 8 perfectly primo M101 trailers...in Canada....apparently they don't get used much by the Canadian Army....= )
