The fan ought to have specs on it. Watts needed on 110 is the same as watts needed on 12v. I would think it would run off a modern charging system....

Batteries are rated in amp/hours. Amps x volts = watts. So, one amp for one hour = 12 watt/hours. 110v fan that draws 5 amps needs 550 watt/hours to run for one hour. Figure from the battery rating how long the fan will run.
