You have the right idea, but that is assuming a pressure of one atmosphere inside the chamber on a non-turboed cylinder. In reality the pressure is much, much less. Even with turbo and superchargers, there is not enough air moved to overcome the vacuum created by the piston hurtling downward. It's quite a bit more complex than what you have, but it looks like a darn good way to estimate.
