If you are going to rebuild a hood, make sure to put seam sealer on the center hinge parts before riveting. Or seal the same place before painting, if you are not replacing the hinge. Otherwise the rain will run through the crack. Do you wonder how I learned this? Or why I keep a piece of tarp under the hood?
