I found a piece of 4 inch wide by 25 inch long and 1/4 inch thick plastic someone had cut from the bottom of a new mud flap left over on the floor. So,I decided to make 6 holes in it to fit it over the spark plugs to avoid having the spark plug holes being filled with dirt after the Santa Ana winds again. I started up the truck and to my surprise,it runs better than I have ever heard it run. The plastic does get pretty hot.
