And history repeats itself. Same thing went on when Lee Iacocca took over in the 80's. I won't get into the arguments over wheather it was really Iacocca who turned Chrysler around. I just know that in the 90's, Chrysler was THE domestic car company with models that won awards left and right. I had an associate say one time about a particular new Chrysler model (I don't remember which one) "That must not be much of a car, it didn't win any awards like all of Chrysler's other stuff" Chrysler had something like 15 Billion in cash reserves when Diamler came on the scene. We all know what happened from that point. I expect the new owners to bring Chrysler back to where it should be. It will take time.
