The radiator CAN be moved forward fairly easily. It will slip "inside" the U bracket and you can still access the stock radiator cap and everything clears with no mods to stock sheetmetal. You do have to weld a couple strips of metal on the front edge of the support if you want it to look stock. I've done this on mine and if you like a pic send me an email and I'll take one. My truck is apart now and I'm putting a V8 with no firewall mods. Kevin
