If you don’t want to take it apart, if it were me, I would buy a syringe/needle from a cattle/feed store, and 3M Contact Cement in liquid form (bottle)from a harware store. Even in liquid form the cement is fairly thick.
1. Shoot some in between liner and roof, spacing about an inch apart.
2. Work a square pattern.
3. After you make a shot, press headliner against roof material and then pull apart again. Contact Cement needs to be on both pieces and let dry according to instructions.
4. After drying use a narrow roller (4 inches) pressing to attached liner working to center of droop age.
Or you can take it to someone who does auto reupholstering for fixing.
