Need the mount that works on and over tyhe outside dodr hinge.
I need the two piece type that attaches to the top and bottom of the door hinge, and forms a sort of "C" shape when installed.
Then the mirror arm is attached thru the two overlapping halfs and bolted together to hold the arm in place.
They are used on closed cab trucks, not open cabs where the mirror arm mount is attached to the trucks upper cowl.
anyone got a used hinge mount like this for sale?
I beleive that these could have been universal mounts and after market mounts offered as well factory mounts.
I need one. Heck at this point I will take anything that will work. THis is NOT for a Dodge application but rather for a closed cab Chevy 1.5 ton cargo truck, so if any of you forum readers own a Chevy military and have a hinge mounted bracket for sale please advise!!
