Verizon is a MULTI-National Company, it's the old GTE.
See my post to Will, this has been going on for at least two years as a result of a federal privacy act that give ALL consumers of ANY company the right to eliminate junk mail, telemarketing and other annoying offers.
Either you guys have your wives open all your mail or you have been throwing the stuff out without reading it, it is sent every quarter in your billing notice.
Verizon is not playing games, they are complying with the federal law that requires ALL companies to notify their customers of this practice and give the customer the option of not participating.
