I don't know the answer for the Dodge 230, but I lucked into a set of forged pistons for an IHC BD264 produced by TRW. So it may be NOS only for something like that "off the shelf". Also there are the custom piston manufacturers. I have a set of forged Venolias in my '58 Pontiac 370 that are not going to be found in stock anywhere. Not cheap but an option.
