Tim,
Get the bushings replaced before you drive it, and that tie rod end replaced. The parts you are talking about are the main cause of high speed "shimmy".
Your driving experience will be a much better one and you'll get your sticker....= )
That front end was built, basically unchanged, until 1974. In '75 Dodge went to the open knuckle disc brakes (which, by the way, bolts right in if you ever decide to add disc brakes)
