Making exhaust gaskets

When you make your own exhaust gaskets, it's hard to cut the inside holes. You can cut the outside shape with tin snips, but the inside holes are difficult. You can't use a knife, because of the metal inside the gasket material. I discovered that a carbide bit in a roto-zip tool (like you use for cutting openings for electrical boxes in walls) cuts the gasket material just fine for all shapes and sizes of holes. The only problem is it leaves a fuzzy edge, but I don't think that will hurt anything. Just thought I'd pass that along.
