There's a guy in Vancouver that sells W300 brake shoes on Ebay. He charges a handling fee & won't let you pick up unless you pay his fee.
I've never dealt with him & never wiil.
I pay extra to deal with people that are up front.
I've bid on lots of things & then when I've found they want a handling fee if I pick it up....I just don't pay!
No bad feedback so far!
You're right about one thing for sure...big companies are the worst offender.
Another one that kills me is when you buy a car & they try to charge you a documentation fee. I've never paid one & never will.
When you start walking for the door they back down.
I just bought an expensive car on Ebay...same deal. Tried to charge a $399 documentation fee. I refused to pay it even though it was in small print in the auction...I've never paid one & that will never change!
To each his own though!
$400 documentation fee....LOL! That's a lot of documents!
