I don't mind people making a stiff profit on the shipping, if the selling price is low and they disclose the high shipping charge in their listing. All they're doing there is "cheating" ebay, not the customer. I do have a problem with people who don't list a shipping charge, and then after I buy it tell me what it is and it turns out to be unreasonably high. Sometimes this is because they will only ship by some high-cost method instead of parcel post, but usually it's because they're trying to make a substantial profit on the shipping. I bought several rear view mirrors one time from a guy who did that. I didn't leave negative feedback, since the items were as advertised, but I didn't leave positive either and I told him he should disclose his high shipping costs in his ad. He basically said, "that's business", and I just made a note not to buy from him any more.

Most of what I sell is 24V light bulbs and fuel filters, which are small enough to just wrap up in bubble-wrap, put in a manila envelope, and send by first class mail. I try to keep the shipping price down to a couple bucks since each item is less than $10.
