Output through the ammeter, so you get a reading of what's happening.

The red one from the pigtail goes to the battery. This is the 'senser' wire and will make sure you get 14v to the battery in spite of resistance in the wiring- corroded terminals and such.

The white one to an idiot light, the bulb's resistance will prevent leakage. This is the 'exiter' circuit. If you don't hook it up things may take a minute er two to start outputing.

That all said, I think my white is hooked to the IGN of the switch. It's been a week since I started the truck, I ought to go see how it's doing on drainage. Now where did I put that idiot light, that I was going to mount in my throttle cable bracket...
