Pop had the 383 in the 71 1/2 ton 2WD, and it was one wild truck. Super Banana Yellow with a Black Top.
The truck would out run anything on the road, but he kept stripping the splines of the axles (posa-trac), and the the 1st gear band in the auto tranny.
Sure wish I had that truck now.
