He gives 'em to the auctioneer to sell on ebay with a starting bid of $200 and no reserve, and then when only one of them sells, he says he won't take less than $4K apiece? I wonder what he did about the one that somebody bid on. Did he go back on the deal? You don't just give something to an auctioneer to sell with no reserve and then when the bidding doesn't get as high as you want, change your mind.
Yeah, these guys always have somebody that offered them some high price for them. Some guy up Burke had a yard full of rusty old cars and trucks, all for sale, that I was looking at one day. Everything was pretty reasonable except this old Plymouth station wagon that he said some guy from Vegas had offered him 5 grand or something for. Several years later, it was still in his yard.
