Sorry for so many questions. You've got me started in the right direction. I'm going to be doing all the wiring from scratch (not via a pre-made harness) but I want the truck (M43) to look authentic from the outside and have b/o lights if I can do it and still have service marker lights and turn signals that work like modern ones. I think I can scavenge enough small round light assemblies off of my trailers and maybe a b/o headlight off the old Reo. It's good to know that the front lights were set up to be turn signals but weren't hooked up. I can hook them up and nobody will be the wiser. It's also interesting that they originally had a not only a brake but also the marker light only on the driver's side. I suppose the theory was that since all roads were only 2-lane there'd be nobody behind you on the right who needed to see where you were.

Do you have a truck with a b/o headlight on it? I've found some pictures on the Internet that show roughly where it goes, but if can scavenge the assembly off my Reo, I'll need to make a bracket to attach it. It would be great if you could take a picture of yours showing the mounting, or even draw a sketch.
