I found that prep is very important! cant stress that enough. Sand with 400 grit waterproof aper and wet sand sooooth. Get a good sprayer (I have a top tank) but not HVLP but wish I had. Spray 2-3 light thin cats and dont rush it. Let it set until not tackly before clear coat. Clear coat can be problematic since it tends to be thicker. Cut it with reducer, Be careful no to over shoot as it will run. If it does let it dry a couple of days sand ou the drips and reshoot. I shot in an open garage so there is some dust but what the he**. I used 2 quarts of color and one quart black. Add 1 more quart for inside and touch up.
