I tried the por 15 stuff in satin on some things and it didn't work out too well (didn't stick on good metal). I got a gallon of zero rust to do the bottom of a car that was blasted and it worked out good. It took about 2 weeks to fully cure hard but after that it was a hard coating that was difficult to scratch. You fill in all your pitting and bodywork before you put it on and you can paint over it after it cures. I like it better than epoxy for undersides. It also comes in colors if you don't want to topcoat it, but they say it chalks after a while, if exposed to direct sun (UV) .
