My condolences Art. I lost my constant feline companion several years ago around Christmas. I was suprised how deeply it affected me. We had him for fifteen years and I had become quite attached. Pepper also had several dog like traits and a great if somewhat peculiar nature.
I've been told cats don't have owners, they have staff. It took me a couple years to apply for another position, But I am happy to say that I am currently in the employ of two appreciative cats ; and look forward to serving them for some time to come.
