I bought bed strips last month. The ones on the sides are called 'angle strips'. Lot's of different variants, they seem to have them all. The whole set was about $165, free freight.

The pita is going to be in locating and welding the angle strips to the sides. I think I'll need to make one of the edge boards first, as a straight edge.

And the age old question I still need to answer: Red Oak, White Oak, Yellow Pine, or maybe Bubinga?
