The key with saw blades, regardless of if it's a hand hack saw, a sawzall, or some other kind of motorized saw, is to have the teeth fine enough that there are always at least 2 teeth, preferably three, in contact with the metal. For sheet metal, that usually means the finest pitch saw blade you can find, and if it's still not fine enough, cut at an angle. Another old trick is to clamp it between two pieces of scrap wood and us a coarser saw. Some guys cut tin roofing with an old plywood blade put on backwards in a Skil saw. That's pretty crude for body work but if it's what you have, it might be better than nothing. Like everybody else says, don't use a torch. It'll curl up like a potato chip and you'll never get it good.
